BNK Financial Group Drives Organizational Change Through Recruitment of External Experts in Digital and Other Fields

On April 25, BNK Financial Group announced that it will recruit three external experts: a Chief Risk Officer (CRO), a digital specialist, and a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) who will also serve as Chief Privacy Officer (CPO). The company explained that these appointments are aimed at advancing its group-wide risk management system, strengthening its digital-based competitiveness, and enhancing information security.

BNK Financial Group stated that this recruitment reflects the personnel philosophy of Chairman Bin Daein, who has consistently emphasized change and innovation throughout the organization by harmonizing new perspectives from external talent with the existing internal structure.

Last year, BNK Financial Group continued to strengthen its expertise in key business areas by appointing professional executives to positions such as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Head of Wealth Management (WM) and Pension Group, and Head of Capital Markets Group, which was an unusual move among regional financial holding companies.

A BNK Financial Group representative said, "Recruiting external professionals is a key driver of organizational change and innovation," adding, "This is not simply about increasing headcount, but about bringing fresh perspectives and energy to the organization, enabling us to become a more flexible and innovative financial group with a strong organizational culture that can adapt to change."
