[Market Focus] Xgate Rises on USIM Hacking Incident... Highlighted for Next-Gen Quantum Cryptography VPN Development with SKT

On April 18, SK Telecom confirmed signs that some information related to users' USIM cards had been leaked due to malicious code deployed by hackers. The leaked data reportedly includes unique identification numbers used to identify each subscriber's USIM card. The Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) and the police are currently investigating the incident.

SK Telecom explained that it has elevated its Fraud Detection System (FDS) to the highest level to block abnormal authentication attempts, and that no cases of damage have been reported since the security breach.

Meanwhile, Xgate is recognized as a 'game changer' in the security industry, having established a track record of developing quantum cryptography-based VPN technology through its collaboration with SK Telecom.
