Held at the Children's Creativity Experience Center
A Wide Array of Enjoyable Activities Awaits
To celebrate the 103rd Children's Day, Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province will hold the "Children's Day Grand Festival" at the Children's Creativity Experience Center on May 5.
According to the province on April 28, this festival is composed of a variety of hands-on events that both children and families can enjoy together. It features various programs designed to inspire dreams and hope in children and to help families create precious memories together.
The Children's Day Grand Festival, which begins at 10 a.m., will kick off with a pre-event performance and a commemorative ceremony. It is organized into seven categories that can be enjoyed both inside and outside the experience center: EnjoyGO, DreamGO, ProtectGO, ExperienceGO, LaughGO, LearnGO, and WatchGO.
The festival offers a wide range of creative and educational experiences, from traditional games such as making frog hanji crafts, folding king ttakji, and making pinwheels, to activities like a mini-Olympics, AI robotic arm experiences, environmental education, magic shows, and Taekwondo demonstrations.
In particular, through collaboration with six related organizations, including Deokjin Fire Station and Jeonbuk Technopark, children will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on fire safety education, AI robotic arm experiences, and assembling cars themselves. These diverse and beneficial experience booths are designed to connect with real-life situations. For more details, please visit the official website of the Children's Creativity Experience Center.
Lee Kwangyoung, Director of the Children's Creativity Experience Center, said, "We have prepared a variety of programs so that children can laugh, learn, and create happy memories," adding, "We hope this festival will be something that the whole family can enjoy together."
