Plans to Establish a Cooperative Model by Utilizing Each Company's Resources
LS and Hanjin Group have joined forces to create synergies in various sectors, including the aerospace industry. LS Group is expected to contribute its expertise in power infrastructure and technology, while Hanjin Group will leverage its experience and capabilities in the aviation and logistics sectors to strengthen their collaboration.
On April 28, LS announced that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Hanjin Group to enhance business cooperation and collaboration, with the aim of achieving mutual growth and maximizing shareholder value.
Through this MOU, the two groups have agreed to utilize their respective core competencies and resources to generate synergies and pursue mutual growth across a range of business sectors, including the aerospace industry.
LS and Hanjin Group plan to expand the scope of their cooperation to a wide range of areas, including: advancing aerospace industry technologies through the application of smart factory technologies; building charging infrastructure for urban air mobility (UAM); collaborating on the expansion of eco-friendly infrastructure and electrification technologies for air transport vehicles; and increasing the number of electric vehicle charging stations.
The two groups plan to establish a collaborative model by maximizing the use of their respective human, physical, and network resources to strengthen cooperation in each business area.
An LS representative stated, "There is ample potential to create synergies by leveraging LS's expertise in electricity and power technologies and Hanjin's infrastructure in the aerospace industry," adding, "We will discuss the specifics of our cooperation in the future."
