At this event, Daehan Cable will highlight its turnkey competitiveness in submarine cables under the theme of 'A New Future Connected Under the Sea.' In particular, the company will unveil for the first time the prototype of its 525kV HVDC submarine cable, which is currently under development. Daehan Cable plans to produce the 525kV HVDC product at its second submarine cable plant, scheduled to begin operation in 2027, and supply it to global offshore wind projects, including those in North America.

In addition, the company will showcase its differentiated technology and expertise by presenting its track record of supplying submarine cables to major domestic and international projects since 2009.

A Daehan Cable representative stated, "North America is one of the most active regions for submarine cable business opportunities. Through IPF 2025, we will actively promote our turnkey competitiveness in submarine cables to offshore wind project developers and further strengthen our position in the market."
