A three-story facility established in Aguas Calientes
Scheduled to open in Asia within the first half of the year
Nongshim announced on April 28 that it has opened the first 'Shin Ramyun Bunsik' ramen experience center near Machu Picchu, Peru. The company plans to expand its touchpoints with global consumers visiting Machu Picchu and provide an opportunity to experience the Nongshim ramen brand.
The Shin Ramyun Bunsik in Peru is a three-story facility located in Aguas Calientes, the essential gateway to Machu Picchu. The first floor serves as an experience space where visitors can cook and taste ramen themselves, while the second and third floors are exhibition spaces introducing the history of Shin Ramyun and showcasing Nongshim's major product portfolio as a global brand.
Nongshim plans to actively promote the spicy flavor of Shin Ramyun and the Nongshim brand to global consumers by operating 'Shin Ramyun Bunsik' at major tourist destinations around the world. The company intends to open a 'Shin Ramyun Bunsik' in the Asia region within the first half of the year and is considering additional locations at major global landmarks in the future.
A Nongshim representative stated, "Just as Shin Ramyun experience centers have become popular attractions at global landmarks such as Jungfrau in Switzerland, known as the 'roof of Europe,' and Punta Arenas in Chile, the southernmost city in the world, we hope that 'Shin Ramyun Bunsik' will become a hot place for enjoying a wider variety of global landmarks. We will continue to strengthen experiential marketing that allows us to meet global consumers directly."
