TIPA to Hold "2025 National Innovation Idea Contest"

Open Until June 11

The Korea Technology and Information Promotion Agency for SMEs (TIPA) announced on April 28 that it will hold the "2025 National Innovation Idea Contest."

TIPA to Hold "2025 National Innovation Idea Contest"

This contest will run until June 11, 2025, and is seeking innovative ideas from the public that can lead to tangible improvements in three areas: innovative management, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) management, and communication management. Anyone can participate in the contest by downloading the application form from the official TIPA website, completing it, and submitting it via email.

Since 2020, TIPA has been promoting public service innovation based on citizen participation, and has incorporated ideas submitted through the annual contest into actual policies and business operations. Now in its sixth year, this contest is particularly focused on discovering ideas that are feasible for institutional improvement by strengthening their connection to the agency's mid- to long-term strategies.

The submitted ideas will go through a two-stage selection process: an initial expert review, followed by a public online vote. A total of 10 final winners will be selected. The grand prize winner will receive an Onnuri gift certificate worth 1 million won and a commendation from the TIPA president. In addition, there will be excellence awards (one per category, three in total) and encouragement awards (six in total).

TIPA plans to further develop the winning ideas internally and apply them to actual institutional and service improvements. Kim Youngshin, president of TIPA, stated, "Creative proposals based on customer experience are extremely valuable assets for the advancement of institutional management and public service innovation," adding, "TIPA will continue to realize innovation together with the public."
