Lim Taehee, Superintendent of the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, completed all official education exchange schedules with Kazakhstan on April 27 (local time). This visit went beyond a simple memorandum of understanding for the global talent development of multicultural students, adding significance as a 'student-centered education exchange' aimed at achieving tangible results.
From April 21 to 26, Superintendent Lim visited educational institutions and universities in Kazakhstan, continuing full-fledged efforts to propose Gyeonggi's multicultural education policies and the achievements of the 'Gyeonggi Korean Language School.'
Gyeonggi education opened new horizons for educational cooperation expanding into Central Asia by signing agreements such as a native teacher exchange program with the Kazakhstan Ministry of Education and Abai Pedagogical University, introducing the 'Gyeonggi Korean Language School (KLS)' online school that supports Korean language education for local students, and establishing a 'global overseas internship' program with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and universities.
As his first official schedule, on April 22, Superintendent Lim visited the Almaty Korean Education Center to witness the Korean language boom in Central Asia. At this event, he introduced the 'Gyeonggi Korean Language School' online school and textbooks to support local Korean language education and discussed ways for mutual exchange.

On the following day, April 23, he visited Abai National Pedagogical University to discuss the development direction of the 'Kazakhstan Recommended Outstanding Talent Native Assistant Teacher Project.' Superintendent Lim emphasized, "Multicultural and returning overseas Korean students need Korean language proficiency to live in our country," and promised to expand easy and systematic Korean language education and support for native teachers.
On April 24, Superintendent Lim met with Gani Beisembayev, Minister of Education of Kazakhstan, and proposed a 'three-stage educational cooperation plan (Korean language education - online school - face-to-face teacher and student exchanges).' Both institutions pledged practical commitment beyond a simple agreement. In particular, when Minister Gani stated, "Let us support enthusiastically (ystyq qoldau)," Superintendent Lim responded, "Let us open the path of cooperation with only students in mind."
On April 25, Superintendent Lim visited Astana No. 31 Gymnasium, which is promoting educational exchange with Ansanseo Elementary School in Gyeonggi, and in the afternoon, visited a local company participating in the 'global overseas internship' program promoted by the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education.
As his final schedule, Superintendent Lim signed a three-party agreement at Eurasian National University with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education to promote the 'global overseas internship' program.
Superintendent Lim stated, "I am confident that Gyeonggi multicultural students will grow into global talents who serve as bridges between the two countries in economic, social, and cultural fields through the overseas internship program," and promised, "We will open a brighter future for students through open and sustainable international cooperation."
