The Most Prestigious Advertising Festival in Asia-Pacific
Grand Prix Winner in the TV & Cinema Film Category
Innocean announced on April 28 that it had won the Grand Prix, the highest honor, at the 2025 Spikes Asia, the most prestigious advertising festival in the Asia-Pacific region, for the "Night Fishing" campaign, which was planned and produced jointly with Hyundai Motor Company.
The Grand Prix was awarded in the TV & Cinema Film category. This category recognizes all advertising campaigns aired on TV or in movie theaters, and is judged based on factors such as creativity, execution, and impact. Innocean also won a Silver award in the Branded Content Innovation category for the same campaign.
The Night Fishing campaign is a short film starring actor Son Seokgu and the Hyundai IONIQ 5. Set at an electric vehicle charging station, it features a mysterious incident and a plot twist, making it a humanistic thriller. Produced as a short-form movie with a runtime of about 13 minutes, it became the first of its kind in Korea to be screened in theaters, generating significant buzz.
The campaign, produced in the style of a film, was praised for effectively conveying the innovative spirit and technological prowess of the Hyundai brand through a unique technique?shooting from the car's perspective. It also attracted attention for expanding creative possibilities by combining commercial value with the artistic qualities of the film genre.
Previously, in March, Innocean also won five main awards, including a Gold, for the same campaign at AdFest.

Meanwhile, Spikes Asia, which began in 1986 and is now in its 39th edition, is regarded as the most prestigious advertising festival in the Asia-Pacific region. Innocean previously won the "Agency of the Year" award, given to the best advertising company, at Spikes Asia in 2022.
