Yeongdeungpo District (District Mayor Ho Kwon Choi) announced that it achieved a 96% collection rate for road and river occupation fees through a thorough administrative property status survey, thereby contributing to the expansion of its independent financial resources.

The district imposed 9.6 billion won in road occupation fees and collected 9.2 billion won. This 96% collection rate was the result of accurately levying occupation fees and systematically collecting them through a comprehensive administrative property survey.

This year, the administrative property status survey covers 4,166 parcels of land, totaling 4,284,390 square meters.

In this survey, the district plans to meticulously verify changes and the proper use of properties with occupation permits based on the registered data in the public property ledger. For properties that do not match the survey results, the district intends to strengthen administrative property management by updating the designated land use and keeping the public property ledger current.

Ho Kwon Choi, Yeongdeungpo District Mayor, stated, "Through thorough status surveys and systematic collection management, we will secure tax revenue and establish a sound foundation for fiscal management."
