[Tomorrow's Weather] Clear Skies and Dry Air... Strong Winds Expected

On Monday, the 28th, skies across the country are expected to be mostly cloudy, becoming clear from the morning.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 27th, the morning low on the 28th is forecast to range from 6 to 14 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high from 17 to 24 degrees Celsius. These temperatures are similar to or higher than the seasonal averages (morning low of 5 to 12 degrees, daytime high of 18 to 23 degrees).

The entire country is expected to come under the edge of a high-pressure system, with skies mostly cloudy, clearing up from the morning. From the night of the 27th to the morning of the 28th, Jeju Island is expected to experience occasional rain.

Strong winds are expected, so caution is advised. On the 28th and 29th, there may be areas where instantaneous wind speeds reach 35 to 55 km/h.

The atmosphere is expected to be very dry in regions where a dry weather advisory is in effect, including the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon Province, inland Chungcheong region, eastern Jeolla region, and Gyeongsang region.

From the morning to early morning on the 28th, there may be areas of fog with visibility less than 1 km, especially in western Gyeonggi Province and inland North Jeolla Province, so attention to traffic safety is necessary.

Air quality is expected to be poor. On the 28th, fine dust levels are forecast to be at 'moderate' in most regions nationwide. Ultrafine dust is expected to reach 'temporarily bad' levels in the Seoul metropolitan area and Chungcheong region, and 'moderate' in other regions.
