The House of Delegates stated, "The government should not deny the fact that medical students and young doctors have been suffering for over a year," and asserted, "Restoring the situation to its original state is the only solution."

The House of Delegates also called on the KMA leadership to "make efforts to heal young members and medical students who are experiencing a sense of loss," and requested, "We must create an umbrella that can support them, encompassing all professional groups."

The House of Delegates added, "Only the participation of members can strengthen the capabilities of the KMA and create a unified association," and stated, "We will do our utmost to normalize the medical field as soon as possible."

On this day, the House of Delegates passed an amendment to the articles of association granting associate membership status to medical students, but without conferring rights and obligations such as membership fee payments and voting rights.

Meanwhile, the General Assembly was attended by Cho Seungrae, Jang Jongtae, and Hwang Jeonga of the Democratic Party of Korea; Kim Miae of the People Power Party; Lee Junseok and Lee Jooyoung of the Reform Party; and Yoo Deukwon, Deputy Mayor for Administrative Affairs of Daejeon Metropolitan City. Taeku Kim, President of the Korean Medical Association, stated, "We will secure policy leadership to ensure that healthcare pledges made during the presidential election period do not lead to further deterioration of the medical system," and added, "It is more important than ever to unite the strength of the medical community in order to correct failed healthcare policies and reestablish them in the right direction."
