A Jackpot of 360 Million Won in Prize Money and Bonus

Minsun Kim7 claimed her first victory in her third year on the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour.
On April 27, at Kingsdale Golf Club in Chungju, North Chungcheong Province (par 72, 6,725 yards), she shot a 3-under-par 69 in the final fourth round of the Deoksin EPC Championship (total prize money: 1 billion won), securing a dominant win by a margin of five strokes (11-under-par 277). This is her first win since debuting on the KLPGA regular tour in 2023. She earned a total of 360 million won, which includes 180 million won in prize money and an additional 180 million won bonus offered by Deoksin EPC, the tournament sponsor. However, the bonus amount is not reflected in the official KLPGA Tour money rankings.

Starting the final round with a four-shot lead, Minsun Kim7 recorded four birdies and one bogey. On the 5th hole (par 4), she holed a chip shot from about 17 meters off the green, and on the 10th hole (par 4), she made another chip-in birdie from around 9 meters, discouraging her closest competitors.
Born in 2003 and standing 177 cm tall, Minsun Kim's previous best finishes were runner-up at the 2023 Doosan Construction We’ve Championship and last year's Sh Suhyup Bank MBN Women's Open. This season, she had competed in four tournaments prior to this event, with her best result being a tie for 13th at last week's Nexen-Saintnine Masters.
Jinyoung Lim finished in second place (6-under-par 282), while Hyunjoo Yoo and Yoonji Jung shared third place (5-under-par 283). Nexen-Saintnine Masters champion Shinsil Bang tied for fifth (4-under-par 284), and iM Financial Open champion Minju Kim tied for seventh (3-under-par 285). Hyunkyung Park tied for ninth (1-under-par 287), and Jiyoung Park finished 12th (even-par 288).
