Three Buildings with 437 Units After Remodeling... Construction Cost of 270.8 Billion KRW
Open Balconies and Wide Living Rooms Feature Han River Views
Community Facilities Include Two-Story Sky Lounge and Rooftop Garden
The construction division of Samsung C&T Corporation has been selected as the contractor for the remodeling of Gwangnaru Hyundai Apartment in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. The company has proposed the new complex name as "Raemian Lucir Hangang."
The Gwangnaru Hyundai Remodeling Association approved the selection of Samsung C&T as the final contractor during its general assembly held on the 26th.
The Gwangnaru Hyundai Apartment remodeling project involves the construction of three buildings with a total of 437 units and various community facilities, ranging from six basement floors to 29 above-ground floors, in the Achasan-ro 76-gil area of Gwangjin-gu. The construction cost is estimated at approximately 270.8 billion KRW.
The site is adjacent to the Han River to the south and boasts a pleasant residential environment with Achasan Mountain to the north. Gwangnaru Station on Subway Line 5 is within a five-minute walk, making public transportation convenient, and access to major downtown areas via Gangbyeonbuk-ro is also easy.
Samsung C&T has proposed "Raemian Lucir Hangang" as the new name for the complex. "Lucir" is a Spanish word meaning "to shine," and "Hangang" highlights the project's prime riverside location, together expressing the intention to create the most radiant landmark along the Han River.
The exterior of the complex will feature facade patterns reminiscent of the light and waves of the Han River, with a three-dimensional effect achieved through precise vertical and horizontal proportions, complemented by unique landscape lighting. Various specialized designs will also be implemented to take full advantage of the premium riverside location.

A pilotis structure will be used to secure elevated views of the Han River, and the interior of each unit will feature open balconies and living rooms over 5 meters wide, maximizing the locational advantages.
To enhance the effectiveness of the remodeling, the company has also proposed efficient floor plans reflecting the latest trends. These include a "wide LDK integrated" layout that combines the living room, dining room, and kitchen into an open space, as well as tray ceilings and wide panoramic windows to maximize the sense of openness.
The project will include large-scale community facilities totaling 4,096 square meters (1,239 pyeong), featuring a two-story sky lounge with river views, a rooftop garden, a fitness center, a golf lounge, and more.
Kim Myungseok, Executive Vice President and Head of the Housing Business Division at Samsung C&T, stated, "We will successfully carry out the Gwangnaru Hyundai remodeling project, which boasts the best location along the Han River, and provide the greatest pride to the association members."
Samsung C&T plans to accelerate additional orders in the second half of this year, focusing on key locations such as Apgujeong and Yeouido.
