The Only Art Fair Operated by a Financial Institution
The Fifth Edition of The Preview to Be Held This Year
Shinhan Card announced on the 27th that it will be hosting a variety of cultural and artistic events in celebration of Family Month.
First, the company is holding a giveaway event for invitations to "The Preview Seoul 2025," which will be held for the fifth time next month at the former National Theater Baek Seokhee Jang Minho Theater located at Seoul Station.
The event is open to customers who participate through Shinhan Card's All That platform and leave a comment sharing their expectations. Winners will be selected by lottery to receive one VIP invitation (10 winners), two general invitations (20 winners), or one general invitation (30 winners). Holders of VIP invitations may bring one guest.
The company is also offering an art exhibition event. Until the 18th of next month, tickets to the "Chwihyanggaok: Art in Life, Life in Art" exhibition at D Museum in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, will be available at a 50% discounted price of 6,000 won.
This exhibition, held to commemorate the 10th anniversary of D Museum's opening, features works by more than 50 world-renowned artists and over 300 pieces. Masterpieces by Park Seobo and Kim Whanki, as well as design furniture by Jean Loubray, are on display.
There is also a ticket discount event for the exhibition "Impressionism, From Monet to America: Light Crossing the Sea," which runs until the 26th of next month at The Hyundai Seoul in Yeouido, Seoul. This exhibition marks the 150th anniversary of the birth of Impressionism.
When paying with a Shinhan Card, tickets can be purchased at a 25% discounted price of 15,000 won, down from the original 20,000 won. Each person can purchase up to two discounted tickets. Both credit and debit card customers are eligible to participate.
Exhibition tickets can be purchased at the discounted price by making a reservation through the NOL (formerly Interpark) ticket booking page.
A Shinhan Card representative said, "For the fifth edition of The Preview Seoul 2025, we will introduce the vibrant contemporary art scene, featuring 38 galleries and more than 200 emerging artists, in a new space."
Since 2021, Shinhan Card has been the only financial institution to operate an art fair. Last year's fourth edition, "2024 The Preview Seongsu," was also held successfully.
The Preview means "preview" and is centered on emerging galleries and artists. It is recognized for laying the foundation for mutual growth and contributing to the expansion of the art market ecosystem.
