Full-scale Program Operation Begins in May
LX Pantos announced on the 27th that its 'LX Pantos LMD·Installation Academy', an educational and training institution for home appliance installation personnel, has been selected as an operating institution for the Ministry of Employment and Labor's Small, Medium, and Large Business Win-Win Academy.
The 'Small, Medium, and Large Business Win-Win Academy' is a project organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Human Resources Development Service of Korea. In this project, large companies provide high-quality educational and training programs to employees of small and medium-sized partner companies to help improve their job competencies, and receive government support for program operation and development costs.
LX Pantos was selected as an operating institution for the Win-Win Academy after receiving high scores in all evaluation criteria, including the adequacy of educational programs and facilities and equipment for employees of small and medium-sized partner companies.
Since its opening in 2004, the 'LX Pantos LMD·Installation Academy' has been operating a 660-square-meter training center within the LG Electronics Pyeongtaek Digital Park, training more than 7,000 installation specialists annually.
Starting in May, LX Pantos plans to officially launch the 'Win-Win Academy - Home Appliance Installation Specialist' program. As the program is supported by government funding, participants can receive training free of charge, and anyone interested in appliance installation is eligible to apply.
