Domestic Cybersecurity Companies Use US Market as a Springboard for Global Expansion

KOTRA to Operate Korea Pavilion at San Francisco Cybersecurity Expo
Key Topic: Strategies to Address Security Threats from Generative AI
Ten Korean Companies Including GiwonTech and Logpresso to Participate

KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) and the Korea Information Security Industry Association will operate the Korea Pavilion at the "RSAC 2025" to be held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, USA, from April 29 to May 1, supporting the overseas expansion of domestic cybersecurity companies.

This exhibition, now in its 34th year, is the world's largest cybersecurity event. Under the theme "The Power of Diversity, One Community," it features booth exhibitions, information security conferences, and startup pitch competitions.

Key discussion topics include strategies for responding to security threats based on large language models and AI agents, which have emerged with the spread of generative artificial intelligence.

Global security companies such as Trellix, Fortinet, and Cisco will participate in the event, and six countries?including Korea, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Germany, Singapore, and the Netherlands?will operate national pavilions. This year marks Korea's 11th participation since its first appearance in 2015.

These companies will showcase their technologies and solutions.

KOTRA will support participating companies through its Silicon Valley office by providing pre-arranged buyer matching, online promotion, and directory utilization, as well as facilitating practical consultations on site to boost export performance.

Lee Geumha, Head of KOTRA's North America Headquarters, stated, "With the spread of generative artificial intelligence, global demand for cybersecurity investment is increasing. We will actively support our companies so they can become global cooperation partners in overseas markets."
