Inviting Report Writing Expert Baek Seungkwon
Sharing Practical Know-how on Administrative Reports and Proposal Writing
Gwanak District (District Mayor Park Junhee) held a practical competency enhancement training session on April 25 for employees, including those in charge of external project proposals and evaluations.
The district organized this training to increase employees' interest in external project proposals from organizations such as the central government and Seoul Metropolitan Government, and to strengthen planning capabilities so that staff can actively and effectively respond to various calls for proposals and evaluations.
On the day of the training, more than 250 employees, including those responsible for project proposals and evaluations as well as staff interested in in-depth training on report writing, attended and showed enthusiastic participation.
The district invited Baek Seungkwon, CEO of Communication Consulting & Clinic, who is recognized as a "master of report writing" and an "administrative writing expert." Baek Seungkwon delivered practical know-how applicable to administrative work, such as "how to summarize key points in a single-page report" and "optimal content and format for project proposal documents."
Through this training, the district expects to strengthen its internal foundation for effectively responding to external project proposals and evaluations, thereby improving its record of being selected for such projects and enhancing its competitiveness in evaluations conducted by external organizations.
Since the 7th popularly elected administration, the district has systematically responded to external project proposals and various evaluations. Since the launch of the 8th administration, it has attracted a total of 195.8 billion won in external funding and achieved record-breaking results by winning awards in 146 evaluations.
District Mayor Park Junhee stated, "This training served as an opportunity to spread document-writing skills, which are a core competency in administrative work, throughout the organization, in addition to strengthening our ability to respond to project proposals and evaluations." He added, "We will continue to actively participate in various project proposals and evaluations to attract external funding and further enhance the district's competitiveness."
