The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced that it will hold the nationwide consumer promotion event, the "May Together Festival," from May 1 to May 30 to mark Family Month.

This year's Together Festival will feature over 24,000 outstanding products from small business owners across more than 130 online and offline sales channels. Various benefits will be offered to consumers, including discount events and prize giveaways.

"Discounts on Outstanding Small Business Products"... Ministry of SMEs to Hold May Together Festival

First, 15,000 products will be offered at up to 30% off through time deals and special exhibitions on 40 online shopping malls, including Naver Shopping, Gmarket, and Oasis. In particular, the "Together 300" products, selected as national representative small business items for the May Together Festival, will be showcased in a special exhibition.

Eight home shopping channels, including Hyundai Home Shopping and NS Home Shopping, will host exclusive win-win exhibitions for small business owners. Home&Shopping and Gongyoung Home Shopping will hold special promotions such as warehouse clearance events for SME products, discount coupons, and point accumulation.

Live commerce events offering 20% discounts on small business products will be held in real-time on 10 platforms.

The opening ceremony for the Together Festival will take place simultaneously from May 2 to May 4 in four locations nationwide: Sejong, Chuncheon, Incheon, and Naju. Previously, the opening ceremony was held in a single location, but this year it has been expanded to foster a nationwide consumer atmosphere. In addition to the opening ceremony, special regional sales events linked with cultural performances and other activities will be held sequentially in 18 locations across the country, including Weridangil in Jeonju and Seongan-gil in Cheongju.

In addition, 1,000 products will be offered at discounts of 30% to 50% at six SME-exclusive retail locations, including Panpan Duty Free at Incheon International Airport and Haengbokhan Department Store.

To boost consumption at traditional markets and alley-type stores, a special Onnuri Gift Certificate refund event is also planned. Ten percent of the payment amount made with Digital Onnuri Gift Certificates will be refunded in the same form. The refund is capped at 20,000 won per week. However, the refund event will begin immediately once the supplementary budget is allocated.

A lottery event will also be held for Digital Onnuri Gift Certificate users. Anyone who spends a total of 50,000 won or more during the event period will be automatically entered, and a total of 2,025 winners will receive digital gift certificates ranging from 20,000 won to 2 million won, depending on the prize tier.

Ten online shopping malls where Digital Onnuri Gift Certificates can be used, including Onnuri Good Day, will also host special exhibitions of traditional market products, along with free shipping and discount coupon events.

Seven credit card companies, including BC, KB Kookmin, NH Nonghyup, Lotte, Woori, and Samsung, will hold special events for Centennial Stores, traditional markets, and alley-type stores. For example, a 10% discount will be applied to card payments of 30,000 won or more, with each card company offering a variety of events.

Coupang and Kakao will hold special exhibitions for small business products available on their platforms. Baemin will offer discounts of up to 10,000 won on "Paldo Jinmigwan" products and provide a 4,000 won discount coupon to customers who place takeout orders.

Department stores and outlets will also hold special exhibitions and sales events for SME and small business products. In addition, 200 small supermarkets nationwide will offer up to 15% off on 30 items, including groceries and daily necessities.

Oh Youngju, Minister of SMEs and Startups, said, "I hope the May Together Festival will be an opportunity for the excellent products of our small business owners to become widely known."
