[Weekend Weather] Gwangju and Jeonnam to See Clear Skies and Wide Temperature Swings... Highs Up to 24 Degrees Clear and mild weather is forecast for the weekend in Gwangju and Jeonnam, but caution is needed due to large temperature differences. Yonhap News

This weekend, as warm spring sunlight shines down, Gwangju and Jeonnam are expected to experience mostly clear skies and mild weather. However, it will be chilly in the mornings and evenings, while daytime temperatures will rise significantly. In inland areas, the temperature difference between day and night is expected to be around 15 degrees Celsius.

On Saturday, April 26, the region will be affected by a high-pressure system moving from near the Shandong Peninsula in China toward the southern sea of Korea. Morning lows will range from 3 to 10 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs will be between 18 and 24 degrees Celsius.

On the following day, April 27, the area will be on the edge of a high-pressure system moving eastward over the southern sea. Morning lows will be between 7 and 12 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs will range from 19 to 24 degrees Celsius.

An official from the Korea Meteorological Administration said, "For the time being, the temperature difference between day and night will remain large, around 15 degrees Celsius, especially in inland areas of Gwangju and Jeonnam, so we advise people to take care of their health."
