An Open Space in the Heart of Seoul
Where Everyone Can Freely Dream and Connect
Donggrami Foundation (Chairman Jang Soonheung) announced that it is offering free access to certain spaces within its main building in Gwanghwamun, Seoul, providing an opportunity for people with diverse dreams and passions to communicate and connect with one another.
The 'Open Challenge Lab' is a space designed to foster the possibility of greater sharing by bringing together ideas and people. It allows individuals and groups to freely realize their ideas, share various content and talents, and encourages content users to practice further acts of sharing, thereby spreading the value of greater giving.
In particular, the lab supports the challenging activities of a wide range of participants, including creative citizens, social enterprises, nonprofit organizations, artists, and youth groups.
The Open Challenge Lab is highly accessible, located within a 10-minute walk from Gyeongbokgung Station on Subway Line 3 and Gwanghwamun Station on Line 5. Inside, it offers a complex cultural space with an event hall accommodating up to 70 people, meeting rooms, small seminar rooms, a book lounge, and a cafe lounge. Equipment such as a stage, sound and lighting facilities, beam projector, and wall-mounted whiteboards are also available free of charge.
A representative from Donggrami Foundation stated, "Sharing space is not just about providing support; it is the starting point for collaboration to realize dreams together," adding, "We hope that more people preparing for new challenges will find the courage to connect and grow through the Open Challenge Lab."
Detailed information about the Open Challenge Lab space and how to reserve it can be found on the official website of Donggrami Foundation.
