Booyoung Housing Signs Three-Way MOU
with Changshin University and Gimhae Construction Technical High School
to Foster Local Talent and Strengthen Industry-Academia Cooperation
Booyoung Housing announced on April 25 that it has signed a three-way industry-academia cooperation agreement (MOU) with Changshin University in Changwon, Gyeongnam, and Gimhae Construction Technical High School in Gimhae, with the goal of fostering local talent.
This agreement aims to cultivate customized talent needed in the region and to establish a sustainable cooperation system between schools and businesses, amid the national crisis of regional population decline.
The three institutions have agreed to cooperate on the following: operating educational programs that link field training and employment, establishing a talent development system that supports students from graduation through local settlement, and building a long-term cooperation governance structure.

The signing ceremony was attended by Seo Jaegap, CEO of Booyoung Housing; Choi Kyunghee, President of Changshin University; Kim Kapyoung, Principal of Gimhae Construction Technical High School; and other officials from each institution.
Through this agreement, Booyoung Housing plans to operate a "contract-type specialized high school" in partnership with Gimhae Construction Technical High School for five years starting in March next year. Booyoung will provide opportunities to gain practical experience through field training and internships, and will continue to support graduates so they can settle in the local community. Additional support will also be provided after the completion of the educational program to help students plan their career paths.
Seo Jaegap, CEO, stated, "For a company to join hands with local education is not only a way to secure talent but also a way to fulfill its social responsibility," adding, "We will continue to grow together with the local community."
Choi Kyunghee, President of Changshin University, said, "This agreement marks an important turning point in creating an educational ecosystem where local talent can grow within the region," and promised, "We will support students to receive practical education connected to the industrial field."
Kim Kapyoung, Principal of Gimhae Construction Technical High School, commented, "I hope this will provide real help for students in planning their careers," and added, "We will help them gain confidence and enter society through field-oriented education."
Since acquiring Changshin University in 2019, Booyoung Group has provided all freshmen with a full year of tuition as scholarships (50% for the Department of Nursing). The group also offers practical training and internship opportunities through the "Booyoung Track" program linked to its leisure facilities, working to strengthen the university's competitiveness. Changshin University has achieved 100% freshman enrollment for four consecutive years and has ranked first in retention and employment rates among private universities in the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam region.
