Chungnam Province has launched and begun full-scale operation of the integrated child care platform "I Chungnam" to improve elementary school parents' access to child care information and convenience in using child care services.

On the morning of April 25, the province announced the official launch of the platform at the "Final Report Meeting on the Establishment of the Chungnam All-Day Integrated Child Care Platform I Chungnam," held in the education seminar room of the Chungnam Social Service Institute. The event was attended by officials from the provincial government and the provincial office of education, representatives from the Chungnam Social Service Institute, and staff from city and county child care centers.

The Chungnam All-Day Integrated Child Care Platform "I Chungnam" is one of the "Himssen Chungnam Full Care Policies" and will provide customized child care services to parents of elementary school children aged 6 to 12.

With the establishment of the "I Chungnam" platform, parents are now able to apply for and reserve services online at existing child care service providers?such as "Community Child Centers," "Together Child Care Centers," Chungnam-style "All-Day Child Care Centers," and "Himssen Chungnam Village Child Care Centers"?which were previously only accessible by phone or in person. The province expects this to greatly improve convenience for parents.

Additionally, parents can now apply for the "365x24 Child Care Hub Center," which provides child care services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, allowing them to receive care whenever needed. Applications for the "Dispatch of Child Care Activists" program, which responds to various niche child care needs, are also available.

The operation of "I Chungnam" has been entrusted to the Chungnam All-Day Integrated Child Care Support Group within the Chungnam Social Service Institute, which was established last year.

Going forward, the province plans to improve and supplement the platform by analyzing user statistics and conducting satisfaction surveys, so that residents can access child care services more conveniently.

Lee Seungyeol, head of the Provincial Population Policy Division, stated, "We will ensure the stable establishment of 'I Chungnam' and make it a pillar of Chungnam-style child care policy. We will continue to improve any shortcomings and strive to provide a better child care environment to enhance parents' access to and convenience of child care services."
