Kim Naae of Dong-Eui University Wins Women's University Sabre Title at 54th President's Cup Championships

Kim Naae (senior, Department of Leisure Sports) and Jang Jiweon (senior, Department of Leisure Sports) of the Dong-Eui University fencing team took first and second place, respectively, in the women's university sabre individual event at the 54th President's Cup National Fencing Championships by category.

In the final of the women's university sabre individual event, held in Jecheon, Chungbuk from April 19 to 23, 2025, two Dong-Eui University athletes faced each other, with Kim Naae defeating Jang Jiweon 15-14 to claim the championship.

In addition, Kim Junhyeong (senior, Department of Physical Education) of Dong-Eui University finished third in the men's university sabre individual event.
