Auditors and Turfgrass Research Institute Director Reappointed
Discussion on Revised Budget for Joint Purchasing System and More
The Korea Golf Course Management Association (KGBA) announced on April 25, 2025, that it held its 165th board meeting at the Korea Golf Hall in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province.
The meeting was convened to reorganize the association in response to the rapidly changing golf industry and the climate crisis, and to pursue more effective initiatives. During the board meeting, Lim Nowon, CEO of Sunny Point CC, and Kim Dojin, CEO of Dongnae Benest GC, were reappointed as auditors of the association, and the reappointment of Shim Kyuyul, Director of the Turfgrass Research Institute, was also confirmed.
The association also discussed a revised budget to establish a joint purchasing system for member companies, strengthen support for practical operations, and build a recruitment platform. President Choi Dongho stated, "I hope this board meeting has become a meaningful opportunity to objectively assess the current realities our industry faces and to seek forward-looking solutions."
