On April 25, Edutech startup I Hate Flying Bugs (IHFB, CEO Park Chanyong) announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with comprehensive education company Eduwill (CEO Yang Hyungnam) to drive innovation in online learning and foster talent development.

The core objective of this agreement is to combine IHFB's innovative AI technology, currently under development, with Eduwill's robust educational content capabilities to enable proactive learning management.

While traditional reactive AI chatbots only respond passively to students' questions, IHFB's proactive multi-agent AI system, "MildangPT," which is set to launch in May, is an active system capable of analyzing learning situations in real time. This system intervenes preemptively to provide necessary learning management before students even recognize a problem.

In particular, this system enables multiple AI agents to collaborate in diagnosing each student's learning status, recommending personalized learning materials, motivating students, and managing individual progress?automating or assisting a wide range of tasks typically performed by teachers. As a result, it is expected to significantly reduce teachers' workloads and greatly enhance the efficiency of educational operations.

Currently, Eduwill operates approximately 60% of its business online, demonstrating a strong presence in the digital education sector. This collaboration is therefore expected to generate significant synergy. Under this agreement, the two companies plan to cooperate in various areas, including the co-development of AI-based personalized online education content, the establishment and technical collaboration on AI tutoring-based learning management systems, and the joint implementation of brand campaigns and customer promotions.

Park Chanyong, CEO of IHFB, stated, "'MildangPT,' which implements proactive and personalized learning management based on AI technology and a multi-agent structure, not only overcomes the limitations of conventional personalized learning management but also ensures operational efficiency and scalability. Through collaboration with Eduwill, we will do our utmost to enable more learners to experience a new AI-based learning environment."

Yang Hyungnam, CEO of Eduwill, commented, "Edutech is one of Eduwill's future growth engines, and this agreement marks an important first step toward redefining customer-centric online learning experiences, moving beyond a simple technology partnership. By integrating content and technology, we will further strengthen our competitiveness in the digital education market and create an innovative, learner-centered educational environment."

Meanwhile, Eduwill is actively pursuing digital transformation in education and expanding innovative partnerships this year through its "Co-evolution" strategy. The agreement with I Hate Flying Bugs is also part of this strategic initiative.
