Sphere announced on April 25 that it has signed a contract worth 19.2 billion KRW to supply special alloys to a global aerospace launch company based in the United States.
The contract amount is equivalent to 752.33% of Sphere's recent sales, and the contract period runs from April 24 to December 7. The specific contracting party has not been disclosed due to a request for confidentiality regarding trade secrets.
Sphere Korea, which recently merged with Sphere, is a company that develops and supplies superalloys and special alloys required for key components of rocket launch vehicles.
It is known that the aerospace client uses special alloys worth between 2 trillion and 3 trillion KRW annually. Last year, Sphere Korea recorded sales of 85.4 billion KRW, a 611% increase compared to the previous year.
