Jangseong County in South Jeolla Province has announced a festival that will celebrate music and spring flowers along the Hwangryonggang River.

According to Jangseong County on April 25, the 24th Jangseong Hwangryonggang Gildongmu Flower Road Festival will be held over two days, from May 10 to 11, in the Hwangryong Garden area. Building on the positive feedback from last year's "Music Festival," this year's event will feature an even more diverse array of performances and attractions for visitors.

The eve celebration on May 9 will feature performances by trot singers Lee Chanwon and Yoon Suhyun, among others, setting the mood for the festival. On May 10, the main event will see talented musicians such as Guckkasten, Car, the Garden, and Bumkey take the stage at the "Jangseong Music Festival," bringing the emotions of spring to the audience. A variety of programs will also be offered for families, including performances by local artists, career experience activities, and a stamp tour.

The "Mutual Growth Appreciation Seats" will be provided to those who support local consumption and participate in the Hometown Love Donation program, adding significance to the theme of regional cooperation. Food and convenience facilities will also be expanded to enhance visitor comfort.

In addition, the 5th Jeonnam Garden Festival will be held during the same period, further adding to the festive atmosphere. Works by garden designers and hands-on garden experience events will provide visitors to the Hwangryonggang River with even more to see and enjoy.

Kim Hanjong, the county governor, stated, "We have prepared a more focused and enriching festival through selection and concentration," and added, "We look forward to welcoming many visitors to Hwangryonggang, where spring flowers and music come together."
