"Building Global Competitiveness"... World Class Enterprise Association Explores Japanese Innovative Companies

On April 25, the Association stated, "For our member companies to succeed in the global market, it is important to examine various market situations and build insights," adding, "We organized the 'Exploring Japanese Innovative Companies' training to create technological synergies between the two countries and seek new business opportunities."

During this program, CEOs and executives from more than 20 member companies participated and visited leading companies in the fields of precision machinery and manufacturing, IT solutions, artificial intelligence (AI) and data, and innovative materials.

In the areas of precision machinery, IT, materials, and advanced logistics, participants visited Hamano products, Fujitsu, AGC, and MFLP, and also attended Japan's largest IT/DX (Digital Transformation) exposition, 'Japan IT Week Spring,' to observe the latest technologies and trends in Japan's IT industry.

Hamano products is a company that provides integrated solutions from design to mass production in the field of precision processing technologies, such as mold manufacturing and component cutting.

In particular, Hamano products' precision sheet metal processing technology is being utilized in the aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, and medical sectors.

Member companies toured Hamano products' integrated system and learned about its strategies for maximizing productivity efficiency through automation and digital manufacturing processes.

Fujitsu's Technology, which holds the top share in Japan's mainframe market, is Japan's leading IT company with technological strengths in supercomputers, cloud, AI, and semiconductors, supporting digital transformation for enterprises and public institutions.

Through the visit to Fujitsu, participants gained advanced experience in digital innovation and IT services, and had the opportunity to gain insights into the application of supercomputing and data management technologies, as well as AI-based business automation.

They also visited Persol Holdings, a global human resources development company. Persol Holdings is strengthening its HR solutions by utilizing AI and data analytics technologies and is actively engaged in developing AI interview robots and big data-driven HR decision-making processes.

Member companies learned about HR solutions using AI and big data, as well as talent management and talent acquisition programs tailored to the digital environment.

In addition, participants visited global materials manufacturer Asahi Glass, MFLP (Mitsui Fudosan Logistics Park), a leading advanced logistics facility brand of the Mitsui Industrial Group in Japan, global consulting group Marsh McLennan Japan, and the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, exploring various avenues for cooperation.

Participants from member companies who took part in this training program said, "Through this overseas training, we observed the advanced technologies of global innovative companies, learned about trends, and gained valuable insights," adding, "The four-day, three-night schedule was very fulfilling."

An official from the Association stated, "To help our member companies facing environmental changes due to the recent US-China tariff war, we mobilized all possible means to find solutions. Through this training, we provided opportunities for technological cooperation and benchmarking with Japanese companies, thereby creating new growth engines to expand into the global market," adding, "We will continue to develop high-quality programs that can benefit our member companies."
