30% Off the Same Chicken on 'Ttaenggyeoyo'... Seoul City and Private Sector Join Forces

Seoul City, Shinhan Bank, and Chicken Franchises Share Discount Costs
Win-Win Cooperation Agreement Signed at Seoul City Hall on April 25

The Seoul Metropolitan Government is introducing the "Seoul Delivery+ Pricing System," which will provide consumers with lower-priced delivery food by sharing the discount costs with Shinhan Bank and franchise headquarters. The first industry to which this system will be applied is the fried chicken sector.

To promote "Seoul Delivery+ Ttaenggyeoyo" and expand support for small business owners, the city signed a win-win cooperation agreement at 10:00 a.m. on April 25, 2025, in the main conference room of Seoul City Hall with Shinhan Bank, the Korea Franchise Association, the Korea Foodservice Industry Association, the National Franchisee Council, and 18 major chicken franchise companies.

The Seoul Delivery+ Pricing System is structured so that the participating organizations?Seoul Metropolitan Government, Shinhan Bank, and the chicken franchise headquarters?each share the cost to lower prices. As a result, consumers can receive benefits of up to 30% off.

Specific details, such as the implementation timing and cost-sharing arrangements, will be determined through the formation of a working group with the chicken franchises.

Additionally, in June 2025, the city will establish the "Seoul Delivery Win-Win Fund" totaling 20 billion KRW to provide low-interest loans to small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners registered on Seoul Delivery+ Ttaenggyeoyo. Shinhan Bank will contribute 1.6 billion KRW as guarantee funds, and eligible businesses that have joined Seoul Delivery+ Ttaenggyeoyo and meet certain sales criteria will be able to apply.
