Four Uiseong Agricultural Organizations Donate 10 Million KRW for Wildfire Recovery

This donation was voluntarily raised by four organizations: the Uiseong County Federation of Korean Leaders of Agriculture, the Uiseong County Federation of the Korea Advanced Farmers Federation, the Uiseong County Life Improvement Association, and the Uiseong County Federation of Korean Women Farmers. The funds will be used to help affected residents quickly return to their daily lives and to support the recovery of the region.

In addition to this donation, the organizations are also providing practical support by delivering separate donations and relief supplies to their own affected members.

Notably, one of the heads of these organizations personally suffered significant losses in the wildfire but still participated in the donation, demonstrating a spirit of putting neighbors first.

Kim Jusu, the governor of Uiseong County, stated, "I am grateful to the agricultural organizations for their warm support for residents struggling due to wildfire damage," and added, "We will ensure that the donated funds are used transparently where they are most needed so that they can provide effective recovery assistance."
