On April 25, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced that it has finalized the selection of 363 promising startups to participate in this year’s 'Global Corporate Collaboration Program,' which marks its seventh year.

The 'Global Corporate Collaboration Program,' a flagship public-private partnership initiative by the Ministry, is designed to support the growth of Korean startups and create opportunities for them to enter overseas markets through collaboration between the government and global corporations.

Launched in 2019 with just one program in partnership with Google Play, the initiative has expanded every year, and this year a total of 13 global companies are participating. These include Google Play, NVIDIA, Microsoft, Dassault Syst?mes, Ansys Korea, Siemens, Amazon Web Services, Oracle, IBM, Intel, Thales, L’Oreal Korea, and Air Liquide. The scale of support has also grown steadily, from 60 startups in 2019 to a total of 363 startups selected this year.

The startups selected for the program will receive up to 200 million won in commercialization funding from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, as well as specialized support programs. In addition, each global company will provide a growth support program that includes professional services, training, consulting, and assistance in developing global sales channels.

Furthermore, to facilitate ongoing collaboration between participating startups and global companies and to accelerate global expansion, a second-stage program for outstanding graduates has been newly established this year.

On the 24th, Amazon Web Services, one of the participating global companies, hosted the '2025 Jungle Program Kickoff' event. The 'Jungle' program is an initiative by Amazon Web Services to select and support promising startups in the fields of artificial intelligence and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), with 30 startups participating this year.

Jung Wook Lim, Director of the Startup Venture Innovation Office at the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, stated, "Meeting with global companies that are leaders in their respective fields can be a turning point for our startups in terms of growth and global expansion. Going forward, the Ministry will continue to expand collaborations with global conglomerates in various emerging industries and take the lead in open innovation."
