Small Enterprise and Market Service and Coupang Join Hands for Growth of Small Businesses and Traditional Markets

Win-Win Agreement Signed on April 24
Special Discount Event at Coupang Good Store Begins in May

The Small Enterprise and Market Service announced on April 24 that it had signed a 'Win-Win Agreement to Support the Growth of Small Business Owners and Traditional Markets' with Coupang at its Daejeon Headquarters. This agreement was established to promote the digital transformation of small business owners and to strengthen their competitiveness by building a sustainable support system for the continued growth of small businesses and traditional markets.

Under this agreement, the parties will promote initiatives such as support for entry into Coupang's Good Store, assistance for small business owners to expand into online sales channels, and promotion of support programs provided by the Small Enterprise and Market Service. To this end, the Small Enterprise and Market Service will identify small business owners with outstanding performance in participating in its programs and recommend them for entry into Coupang's Good Store, aiming to support the participation of approximately 500 companies by the end of this year.

Coupang will establish a 'Good Store, Exclusive Exhibition for Small Business Owners' on its platform and support the onboarding of small business owners. The Good Store is a permanent exhibition hall that Coupang has been operating since August 2022 to help local farmers, fishermen, and small and medium-sized business owners develop digital sales channels.

The 'Exclusive Exhibition for Small Business Owners' will begin in May, and Coupang plans to feature small business products in prominent locations within the Good Store to increase product awareness and contribute to sales growth.
