Operating the CRM Solution "Recatch"... Recently Introduced "Research AI"
AI Automatically Collects and Summarizes Client Financial Data and Latest News

#One of the main responsibilities of Manager Imapsi (alias), who is in charge of sales at an apparel company, is customer management. In addition to identifying potential client companies, maintaining relationships with existing clients and renewing contracts are also important tasks. To do this, Manager Imapsi used to manually search for the latest news about client companies, enter the information, and share it with the department. However, now this can be done with just a click, thanks to the company's newly adopted customer relationship management (CRM) service, "Recatch." With the recently introduced artificial intelligence (AI)-powered feature in Recatch, users can simply enter the name of a company to see its basic information and the latest news, all organized in a clear and concise format.

Recatch is a B2B-focused CRM service developed by a startup called Business Canvas. Woojin Kim, the CEO of this company, returned to Korea after completing his studies in the United Kingdom and founded the company in 2020. Since then, the company has launched a series of software-as-a-service (SaaS) products, including the document collaboration tool "Typed" and "Recatch."

Recatch, which is currently the company's main service, began full-scale operations in 2023 and has since been adopted by major clients such as large telecommunications companies and IT service firms. Its appeal lies in its intuitive and easy-to-use CRM features. CEO Kim said, "From a management perspective, making the sales team more efficient is extremely important," adding, "By managing CRM data with Recatch, our clients are able to conduct systematic sales management, and they are very satisfied with the results."

One of the most notable new features introduced on April 9 is "Research AI (Re:search AI)." Research AI provides a function that neatly organizes and displays a wide range of information and the latest news related to client companies at a glance. When a user enters just the company name, the AI automatically analyzes and organizes not only basic information such as the client’s business area and number of employees, but also financial status and recent news. Financial information is presented in tables by category, while recent news is automatically summarized to highlight only the key points.

The Research AI feature utilizes OpenAI's o3-mini engine. Youngju Kim, the engineer who developed it, explained, "CRM is a field with high potential in the current trend of generative AI," and added, "This is because it can be seen as a database where a vast amount of customer data related to marketing and sales is gathered in one place."

The company is also preparing to launch new AI features such as email generation. This feature will allow generative AI to compose emails to client companies using information collected through Recatch. The AI will use the client’s information to write natural-sounding email messages as if written by a person. This feature is scheduled to be released at the end of the second quarter.

CEO Kim said, "We are a group of experts in B2B marketing and sales who are obsessed with problems and dedicated to solving them," and added, "We want to continue to be a company that proposes helpful solutions through ongoing research."
