Seven-Day Event Runs Until the 6th of Next Month
Namwon City in North Jeolla Province (Mayor Choi Kyungsik) is making final preparations to launch a grand Children's Day festival starting on the 30th, in conjunction with the upcoming Chunhyang Festival.
According to the city on the 24th, this year's event will begin and end alongside the 95th Chunhyang Festival, creating an atmosphere of celebration throughout Namwon City.

Building on the tradition and prestige of the Chunhyang Festival, the joy and vibrancy of Children's Day will be added, offering a diverse range of content that people of all ages can enjoy. The event is expected to provide special memories and inspiration for family visitors while highlighting the region's cultural value.
The festival will be held at Yechon Madang in Namwon and will feature a variety of performances, including circus and juggling shows, talent performances by daycare centers, a youth harmony stage, an extreme balloon show, and a children's musical gala show, all designed to delight children. In addition, interactive play experience booths will be operated for families, further enriching the festival experience.
On May 5, a Children's Day commemorative ceremony will be held at the Yeruwon special stage. In celebration of Family Month in May, Namwon City is committed to ensuring that the Children's Day Grand Festival and Chunhyang Festival come together to create a joyful and meaningful time for all generations to enjoy and connect.
