Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pilho) announced on the 24th that it has provided eight units of temporary housing, called 'Hope House,' for wildfire victims in Yeongyang County, Gyeongbuk, who lost their homes due to the fire.
In March, wildfires broke out simultaneously in several areas, including Yeongyang, Cheongsong, and Uiseong in Gyeongbuk Province, resulting in damage to approximately 4,300 homes across the province. As a result, numerous residents lost their livelihoods and are suffering severe hardship.
In response, Hope Bridge decided to provide safe and comfortable temporary housing through prompt consultation and on-site investigation with Gyeongbuk Province. 'Hope House' will serve as an alternative residence for victims until long-term housing solutions are arranged.

'Hope House' is a mobile modular prefabricated home with a steel frame structure, measuring approximately 27 square meters (8 pyeong). It is equipped with essential living facilities, including a room with storage space, a kitchen, and a bathroom. Its excellent insulation ensures a comfortable living environment during both summer heat waves and winter cold spells. In addition, it features earthquake-resistant design for enhanced safety.
Starting with the installation in Yeongyang County, Hope Bridge plans to sequentially install additional Hope Houses in other wildfire-affected areas within Gyeongbuk, such as Uiseong County and Cheongsong County.
Shin Hoon, Secretary General of Hope Bridge, stated, "We provided Hope House with the hope that it would offer some comfort to the victims who lost their homes to the wildfire," and added, "We will continue to carry out rapid and effective disaster relief activities in the future."
