Special Benefits for Young Job Seekers
Is there anyone interested in experiencing their very first internship?
Busan Port Authority (BPA, President Song Sanggeun) will hire 12 youth interns for hands-on experience in the second half of the year.
The authority announced on April 24 that it will recruit 8 interns for administrative positions, 1 for safety, and 3 for technical roles. Applications will be accepted from April 30 to May 8.
In accordance with its blind recruitment policy, there are no restrictions regarding educational background, gender, or major. However, this time, the opportunity is open specifically to young job seekers with no prior work experience in the public sector. The recruitment is for "first-time interns," meaning only those who have never worked at a public institution or similar organizations are eligible to apply.
Candidates who complete the designated youth internship program and are selected as outstanding interns based on performance evaluation will receive an additional 1-3% advantage in each stage of the regular employment process.
Details regarding eligibility, selection procedures, and other specifics can be found on the Busan Port Authority website and the recruitment portal. For further inquiries, please contact the BPA Management Support Office.
