LG Electronics Presents a Vision for Future Lifestyles
LG Electronics is proposing lifestyle innovation by showcasing how customers' spaces and daily lives are transforming through Affectionate Intelligence (AI).
On April 24, LG Electronics announced its participation in the country's largest information and communication technology exhibition, the '2025 World IT Show (WIS),' which opened at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. This year's exhibition is held under the slogan 'Space, Future, Connect,' expressing a future where all aspects of life are interconnected through products and technologies. Around the central plaza of the exhibition hall, 'LG AI Square,' various themed spaces are arranged, including LG AI Home, LG Portable AI Home Hub, LG StanbyMe2 Gallery, LG Immersive Cinema, and LG webOS Theater, focusing on home and entertainment.

LG Electronics plans to realize the future that has arrived with innovative Affectionate Intelligence technologies and products. The 'LG AI Home,' which recreates a living room, kitchen, and laundry room, presents the daily lives of a family of three, where conveniences such as recommending outfits based on the weather and automatically adjusting the water temperature for bathing are featured. These can be experienced through a miniature model house and a diorama made with transparent organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs).
A variety of products are on display, including the LG Dios Objet Collection Refrigerator Fit & Max, LG Tromm Objet Collection WashTower and WashCombo, LG CordZero A9 vacuum cleaner, LG Whisen Tower air conditioner, and LG PuriCare Objet Collection AeroCat Tower and AI 360-degree air purifier. In addition, core component technologies such as the AI DD Motor (Direct Drive Motor) and Dual Inverter Compressor are also showcased as media art.
In the 'LG Portable AI Home Hub,' designed as a child's room, visitors can experience a future 'bedtime routine' with the portable AI Home Hub. This AI agent, based on Affectionate Intelligence, expresses emotions and can even recognize customer emotions through their voice, facial expressions, and tone. It can read a desired book aloud or create and tell new stories using drawings made by the customer.

'AI Square' features an interactive experience zone where visitors can use AI products firsthand and intuitively experience them. It is expected to provide an opportunity to quickly explore LG Electronics' newly launched products.
At the center of the plaza, the concept car 'Spielraum' is on display, which redefines customer lifestyles and mobility by combining AI home appliances and Internet of Things (IoT) devices with vehicles. 'Spielraum,' which means 'play space' in German, is an AI mobility space solution that integrates LG Electronics' customized home appliances into automobiles.
The newly launched LG Smart Monitor Swing is also available for visitors to try out first. This next-generation smart monitor features a monitor arm design that allows free adjustment of height and angle, a large and high-resolution display, and convenient touch functionality.
Through LG Gram Pro, visitors can experience on-device AI with 'gram chat On-Device,' and enjoy generating images that match photos or texts taken on-site.
The tumbler washer 'MyCup,' released on April 22, is also being exhibited at WIS for the first time. It allows users to conveniently clean tumblers for use in cafes and offices, replacing disposable cups. The differentiated washing and drying performance of the LG Dios dishwasher, as well as multi-directional cleaning and other technological expertise from LG Electronics, are incorporated into this product.
