Samsung Electronics Launches First KitchenFit Refrigerator with 'Food Showcase' Door

Samsung Electronics is introducing a KitchenFit refrigerator model featuring the 'Food Showcase' door for the first time.

On April 24, Samsung Electronics announced the launch of its new "Bespoke AI Hybrid KitchenFit Max." This new product enhances convenience by equipping the KitchenFit Max refrigerator?which can be seamlessly installed with existing kitchen furniture?with the 'Food Showcase' door, allowing users to easily access frequently used ingredients.

Previously, in February of this year, Samsung Electronics unveiled a new lineup with the KitchenFit Max design, which increases internal storage space by reducing the thickness of the door insulation. Refrigerators with the KitchenFit Max design can be installed perfectly with only 4mm of space on either side, and the refrigerator door can be opened more than 90 degrees.

In particular, Samsung Electronics explained that the "Bespoke AI Hybrid KitchenFit Max" refrigerator offers a new level of convenience through various AI technologies. The company plans to continue its strategy of "AI appliances mean Samsung."

Specifically, the new product features: ▲ 'AI Hybrid Cooling,' which uses semiconductor components to regulate internal temperature and keep food fresher; ▲ 'Bixby,' which allows users to open the refrigerator door or adjust the temperature using only their voice; ▲ 'AI Screen,' which enables food management, product control, and even photo and music enjoyment; and ▲ 'AI Vision Inside,' which recognizes ingredients entering and leaving the refrigerator to help users manage them conveniently.

Kim Yonghoon, Executive Director of Samsung Electronics Korea, stated, "The new KitchenFit Max is a product that maximizes user convenience," adding, "It will be the optimal choice for consumers who value both interior design and product convenience."
