Goheung County to Hold Busking Performances on the Last Friday of Every Month Until October

Goheung County, South Jeolla Province (Governor Gong Youngmin), announced on April 23 that following the 2025 Nokdong Port Drone Show Busking Performance, it will host the "2025 Goheung-eup Drone Show Busking Performance" at the county office square on the last Friday of every month for seven months until October.

This event, themed "Starlit Night Busking Uniting with Residents," is designed to allow residents and tourists to enjoy a diverse range of cultural and artistic experiences in their daily lives, coinciding with the monthly Culture Day. The first performance will take place at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 25.

Hosted by announcer Park Gwangsin, the performance will feature a blend of rock and K-pop by "The Blue Ears" and a show by "Nongsuro," a singer from "Mr. Trot 3," offering a vibrant and enjoyable lineup ranging from pop to trot music. After the drone show, trot singer Kim Sookhaeng, who is originally from Goheung, will continue the excitement with her performance.

A county official stated, "It is very meaningful and moving that not only Nokdong Port but also Goheung-eup will host drone shows and busking performances for residents and tourists," adding, "We hope that the Goheung-eup busking performances, planned to coincide with Culture Day each month, will become a time for residents and tourists to come together, share empathy, and communicate as culture and art become part of everyday life."

Meanwhile, Goheung County plans to stage performing arts regional distribution support project performances at the Goheung Culture and Arts Center from May to August, including the dance drama "Romans Nomang" and the play "Jamkkanman."
