Promise of Joint Creative Activities and Planning of Convergence Projects in Science and Cultural Arts

The Daejeon Cultural Foundation announced on the 23rd that it had signed a business agreement with the National Science Museum to provide customized science and cultural services through the convergence of science and cultural arts.
The agreement includes: joint creative activities and planning and operation of convergence projects in science and cultural arts; revitalization of exchanges and establishment of cooperative networks through research, seminars, and workshops that combine science and cultural arts; and mutual cooperation for the development of science and cultural arts programs, including the rental of cultural facilities.
Kwon Seokmin, Director of the National Science Museum, stated, "When science and cultural arts come together, rather than remaining separate, a synergistic effect occurs that stimulates creative and convergent thinking," adding, "Through this agreement, it will become a valuable opportunity to fully experience the convergence of science and the arts."
Baek Chunhee, CEO of the Daejeon Cultural Foundation, quoted Einstein, saying, "Art and science are branches of the same tree," and added, "We will strive to operate convergence projects that combine science and the arts in order to realize Daejeon as a first-class cultural city."
