On the 23rd, she said, "I had an interview with SBS Golf regarding the commentator position," and added, "If I sign the contract, I will mainly commentate on domestic women's tournaments." She continued, "I'm worried because I haven't been watching the KLPGA Tour matches for a while, but I'm studying hard. Based on my experience playing on tours in both Korea and Japan, I will do my best to provide easy and entertaining commentary."

Haneul Kim is a star player who won the KLPGA Tour Rookie of the Year award in 2007 and was the money leader for two consecutive years in 2011 and 2012, achieving a total of eight wins on the domestic tour. In 2015, she advanced to the Japan Ladies Professional Golf Association (JLPGA) Tour and secured a total of six victories. In November 2021, she played her retirement match at the KLPGA Tour SK Telecom·ADT Caps Championship. Since then, she has been active in various fields, including appearances on golf entertainment programs, serving as a FootJoy ambassador, and working as a YouTuber.
