Korea Electric Power Technology Achieves "Excellent" Grade in 2024 Public Institution Win-Win Growth Assessment

One Step Up from Last Year's Outstanding Grade

Korea Electric Power Technology announced on April 23 that it has achieved the "Excellent" grade in the "2024 Public Institution Win-Win Growth Assessment." This is the highest grade in the win-win growth assessment, and it marks an improvement from last year's "Outstanding" grade.

The Public Institution Win-Win Growth Assessment, overseen by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and evaluated by the Win-Win Growth Committee, annually assesses public institutions' win-win growth activities. The results are announced by categorizing institutions into Excellent, Outstanding, Good, Average, and Needs Improvement grades.

An official from Korea Electric Power Technology stated, "Under the goal of 'establishing a foundation for sustainable corporate growth by strengthening the nuclear power industry ecosystem,' we are pursuing various initiatives." The official added, "In particular, we have established three key strategies: enhancing the competitiveness of the nuclear power ecosystem, expanding the scale of small and medium-sized enterprises, and spreading a culture of mutual cooperation. Based on these, we are discovering and implementing win-win growth projects tailored to our institution."

Specific initiatives include providing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) education and consulting support tailored to corporate needs, strengthening the technological capabilities of SMEs, and carrying out regionally specialized branding projects. The win-win cooperation fund, established to enhance the competitiveness of SMEs in industries such as nuclear power, was expanded by 27% compared to the previous year. Through the "Secondary Supplier Win-Win Payment Agreement," newly introduced last year, the institution created an environment where both primary and secondary suppliers can reliably receive payments.

Kim Taekyun, President of Korea Electric Power Technology, said, "Starting with this achievement of the highest grade in the win-win growth assessment, we will continue to actively communicate with small and medium-sized partners and local small business owners, and further expand more effective win-win growth policies."
