Son Byeongbok Holds Communication Session
with Civil Complaint Officers
On April 22, 2025, Uljin County held a "Meeting with Civil Complaint Officers with the County Governor" at the county governor's office.
This meeting was attended by about 10 staff members from the Civil Complaints Division, Economic and Transportation Division, and Finance Division who handle civil complaints. The purpose was to listen to the difficulties faced by employees who directly interact with the public and to share a variety of ideas for improving civil complaint services in a free and open atmosphere.
The staff who participated in the meeting shared the challenges they face in dealing with the public and requested measures to relieve the stress of civil complaint officers who are worn out by emotional labor, as well as protection measures for public officials.
In addition, there are plans to hold further meetings with staff in charge of licensing, welfare civil complaints, and town and township civil complaint services, who are also on the front lines of public administration and emotional labor.
County Governor Son Byeongbok said, "I fully understand the various difficulties involved in handling civil complaints and will continue to listen to the concerns of those responsible for these services," and added, "I also ask that civil complaint officers take pride in their work and do their best to improve service quality."
