On April 23, Yeongju City held the '2025 Yeongju City Real Estate Price Disclosure Committee' to determine and announce the prices of a total of 169,419 parcels of land as of January 1, 2025.
The individual officially disclosed land price serves as an important reference not only for national and local taxes related to land, but also for various charges and fees such as development charges.
During this committee meeting, the prices of all 169,419 parcels were reviewed and resolved, along with 40 parcels for which opinions were submitted and 29 parcels subject to calculation at the end of the development charge period. In particular, for land parcels with submitted opinions, on-site investigations were conducted as a principle to ensure rational and appropriate price assessments.
The individual land prices reviewed and approved by the committee will be finalized and announced on April 30. Citizens will be able to view and file objections from April 30 to May 29. Objections can be submitted by visiting the Land Management Team of the Land Information Division at Yeongju City Hall, the administrative welfare centers in the towns, townships, or neighborhoods where the land is located, or by mail. Online applications are also available through the 'Real Estate Price Disclosure Information' website.
Lee Jaehun, Acting Mayor of Yeongju City, stated, "Since the individual officially disclosed land price is the basic data for calculating land-related taxes, various charges, and fees, we devoted special attention to the committee's review process," and added, "We will strive to minimize citizen complaints and to determine and announce reasonable land prices that everyone can accept."
