Jeong Cheolwon, the mayor of Damyang County in South Jeolla Province, held the "Odam (五潭) Happiness Meeting" with civil servants in charge of civil complaints on the 22nd.
According to the county on the 23rd, this was the first time since taking office that Mayor Jeong met with civil servants who serve as the closest point of communication with county residents at the civil complaint desk. The meeting was organized to directly listen to the real voices of civil servants handling complaints at the forefront of county administration and to seek ways to improve field-oriented civil complaint administration.
About 20 civil servants responsible for civil complaints attended the meeting, sharing various opinions on the difficulties experienced during the complaint response process, matters related to system improvement, and ways to provide more courteous service.
Mayor Jeong emphasized, "The starting point of county administration is the voices of our residents, and civil servants in charge of civil complaints are at the center of that. I am grateful for your dedication to sincerely addressing each and every resident's concerns, and I will continue to actively support you in providing friendly and prompt civil complaint services focused on our residents."
