Three brothers who are archery athletes will compete together at the National Youth Sports Festival.

Jo Yeojoon from Gwangju and his twin younger brothers Jo Yujun and Jo Damjun were each selected as representatives for the middle school and elementary school divisions, respectively, at the 54th National Youth Sports Festival Gwangju Representative Selection held last month. Next month, they will aim for gold at the target in Gimhae, Gyeongnam.

It is rare for siblings to compete together in the same event, but it is even more exceptional for all three brothers to be selected as representatives. The local sports community is also paying close attention to their challenge.

Their father, Jo Seyoung, said he is moved by watching his three sons encourage each other and take on challenges together. The eldest, Jo Yeojoon, said, "We will support each other at the national competition as well and achieve good results."

Superintendent Lee Jungseon said, "The three brothers will serve as a good example for other students," and added, "We will provide support so they can demonstrate their abilities without injury."
