Yangpyeong County Council in Gyeonggi Province, chaired by Hwang Sunho, announced on the 23rd that it had conducted a "Customized Job Training for Local Councils" at the Yangpyeong County Council Open Council Room on the 22nd.

This training was carried out as part of the "On-site Job Training for Local Council Members" organized by the Local Council Training Center of the Local Government Officials Development Institute under the Ministry of the Interior and Safety. The program was tailored to reflect the current situation in Yangpyeong County, with the goal of strengthening the professional legislative capabilities of council members.


A total of 25 participants, including Yangpyeong County Council members and staff, attended the training. The lectures were delivered by Kim Yongseok, Director of the Good Policy Research Institute at the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology, who spoke on "Techniques for Administrative Affairs Audits," and Kim Changbeom, Director of the Seoul Transportation Culture Education Center, who lectured on "Concepts and Techniques for Settlement Reviews." Each session lasted 100 minutes.


In particular, this training focused on the topic of "Review Techniques for Administrative Affairs Audits" to prepare for the upcoming 309th 1st Regular Session in June, where the "Administrative Affairs Audit" is one of the most important agenda items. It also included "Settlement Review Techniques" to enable effective analysis and review of budget proposals using the results of annual settlement inspections, thereby enhancing the council's ability to oversee and monitor the executive branch.


Chair Hwang Sunho stated, "This job training provided an important opportunity to analyze the administrative status of Yangpyeong County in depth and to strengthen the capabilities of council members through case-based education." He added, "We will continue to enhance the expertise of our council members through ongoing training and do our utmost in legislative activities for the benefit of local residents."
