This event will be held in conjunction with the 37th Yeoju Ceramic Festival, and is expected to add excitement to the festival while also promoting Yeoju's tourism vision to a wider audience.
On the day of the event, the Black Eagles are scheduled to perform an aerobatic flight for approximately 15 minutes. Their spectacular performance will take place over the area surrounding the Yeoju Namhangang Suspension Bridge and will pass through the skies over the entire city of Yeoju.
Prior to this, the Air Force's 53rd Fighter Wing will conduct rehearsal flights to ensure the successful execution of the airshow. The rehearsals are scheduled for April 29, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. for one hour and again from 2:30 p.m. for one hour. The flights will take place in the airspace near the north plaza of the Yeoju Namhangang Suspension Bridge, and there may be temporary aircraft noise throughout Yeoju during these times.
To minimize noise disturbance caused by the event, the Yeoju city government is providing advance notice and requesting cooperation from vulnerable groups, such as livestock farms sensitive to noise, childcare facilities, and apartment complexes, through social media and relevant departments.
A Yeoju city official stated, "We ask for your understanding regarding the noise that may occur in the Yeoju area due to the rehearsal and the event day flights," adding, "We will do our utmost to minimize inconvenience to citizens and ensure the success of the event."
Meanwhile, various programs, including the Black Eagles' flight, are expected to offer a special attraction to visitors attending the tourism inaugural ceremony and the ceramic festival hosted by Yeoju City.
