This workshop was structured not only to enhance policy planning skills but also to focus on practical training in the use of generative AI that can bring about real change in public administration. In addition, the program included opportunities for participants to pause amidst their busy schedules, reflect on themselves, communicate, and recharge, which was met with great enthusiasm.
In particular, various practical applications of generative AI, such as ChatGPT, in administrative tasks?specifically in document creation and data analysis?were introduced through hands-on sessions. This approach was highly regarded as practical training that could be immediately applied in actual administrative settings.
Furthermore, activities such as an integrity campaign and a 'Brain & Body Relax' program for mental and physical recovery were also conducted, going beyond simple lectures to serve as a catalyst for sustainable vitality in the public sector.
County Governor Kang Jinwon stated, "It is essential not only to strengthen practical skills in line with the era of generative AI, but also to build a healthy public service culture based on integrity and trust." He added, "We will continue to make efforts to improve welfare and organizational culture so that public officials can work with pride."
